ANDREW MICHIE
Chief Financial Officer
As the chief financial officer for OneAmerica Financial®, Andrew Michie is responsible for overseeing Investments, Actuarial, Risk Management, Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax and Corporate Development. He heads the enterprise’s Institutional Markets business and serves as a member of the OneAmerica Financial Executive Council. In addition, he is leading the transition of the recordkeeping business to a third party.
Andrew joined the companies of OneAmerica Financial in 2012 and held leadership roles, including head of strategy and controller, prior to being named CFO in 2020. His industry experience includes several years with CUNA Mutual, a mutual life insurer, where he ran the internal audit function, was appointed as controller and ultimately led the organization’s corporate finance team.
A qualified chartered accountant in the United Kingdom, Andrew began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the U.S. and London, England, followed by CFO roles with two startup technology companies.
He currently serves as the chair of the board of directors for the Indiana Repertory Theatre and is a board member for United Way of Central Indiana.
Andrew holds a degree in philosophy and literature from the University of Warwick in England. In his spare time, he enjoys travel, theater and the New York Times Crossword. He is a dual U.S./U.K. citizen and is a passionate fan of both the Green Bay Packers and Liverpool Football Club.
